Our Story

Our practice was founded by Drs. Karen Swenson and Diana Weihs in 1985. Together, our providers bring more than 120 years of combined experience to the practice. We strive to make every interaction with our valued patients a positive experience that leads to good health and healing. Every patient is unique and deserving of respect, and we provide individualized services to each patient that entrusts their care to us.


Women Partners in Health was founded by Drs. Karen Swenson and Diana Weihs; visionaries in their field. Our all-female practice has provided comprehensive, compassionate, individualized care in Austin for almost 40 years. Drs. Swenson & Weihs’s successors, the providers of Women Partners in Health, now AMG Women's Health Central 34th Street, are honored, proud, and committed to carrying on the vision of Drs. Swenson and Weihs.


We are dedicated to providing high quality, empathetic, evidence-based medical care for patients of all backgrounds. Our objective is to provide quality patient care within a welcome, caring and professional environment.

Gynecologic Info

Our providers treat a wide variety of gynecologic conditions including: chronic pelvic pain, endometriosis, infertility, uterine fibroids, abnormal pap smears, menopause, and abnormal uterine bleeding. Our compassionate providers will review your medical history and symptoms with you in detail, and determine whether medical or surgical options are appropriate for your specific concerns.

Our physicians specialize in minimally invasive surgical treatments, including DaVinci robotic-assisted procedures.
